Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello. Has anyone used the Mathmania books from the Highlights company? Just wondering if they are worth the $4.49 plus S&H.

Thanks in advance for any input!

I have a bunch of these, as my father gave my dd a subscription for her birthday one year. When she pulls them out, she enjoys them, but they tend to get forgotten about. I think they're really cute, and make math fun.

Is it worth it? I am glad I have some.

I like to bring them to restaurants and such when we have down time. My boys (6 and 7) have fun looking at them and working on the puzzles.

That said, I did cancel after a few months because they were not doing them enough to justify the continued cost for us.

I have a feeling it depends on the child because I would have LOVED something like this as a child.

I think you can try them for the cost of shipping and handling (that's how it used to be) and see how your children like them.

My son had a bunch of these when he was younger. He always loved them. We used them for car rides or waits in the dr office. It is a great, educational way to pass the time.
