Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone use (or has anyone used) Get a Grip? It's tempting me. But I did just spend oodles on a math program. I thought we could use Get a Grip as a weekly supplement to our otherwise very paper-oriented math and it sounds like *every* age can benefit from it ... what do you think?

We have it. I liked the concept behind it, and I think it is put together well, but ds hated it. I think I will save it for when dd is older and see if she likes it any better. I have a feeling she might.

i have this but don't use it for math at all, but only because i never remember to use it for math. i do remember to get it ouot for fun because my kids are always reminding me to get it down from the top of the cabinet. it is a favorite "toy" and can easily occupy my kids (9-4yrs) for an hour. thanks for the reminder, i think i will use it for rainy day math during the summer.

We bought it but my kids did not enjoy it. I am not sure why -- I thought they would love it (I do).

If you want to just have it be pouring/exploring fun I think you could easily mke your own with bags of rice or lentils or corn and then assorted cups and empty pill bottles.

The biggest drawback to the activity cards I found was the answer is printed on the reverse of the page - I wish it was separate.
