Today we did some of the maths activities from the chocolate unit study.

They were a lot of fun - we graphed the colours in the Smarties box ( the original activity called for M & Ms -we used Smarties). Anthony found the range, mode, median, mean.

We looked at the grams and kilograms in chocolate and at fractions.

A fun activity and even if you are not doing a chocolate unit study I thought you might still like to have a look.

I just saw the pictures - what fun. An interesting note - it looks like your candy named "Smarties" are close to M & Ms. In the US "Smarties" are a very different type of candy.

Oh, yes our Smarties are very similar to M & Ms...I prefer Peanut M & Ms, myself.
