Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone use this? We started a few months back. It is EXCELLENT. I am a writer of sorts (had some magazine articles published a handful of times) but I never learned stuff the way this guy teaches it. Andrew Padua? (sp?)
I'd highly recommend it.
I have level B and am using it with a 12 yo, 15 yo (who is a poor reader and writer), and 17 yo (who is a poor writer).
I think you could go younger- looks like most of teh kdis in the video are 10-13. But okay for older kids as well, I think.
And there is a Level A I think.
It is a series of video taped classes and assignments. VERY easy to follow and do.
The guy is Christian, possibly Catholic (he talking at a Cath. HS conference coming up...)
Yours in Christ,
Kathy

I use it. I initially thought it was going to be too scripted and not creative enough, but I love it. We have the Teaching Writing Structure and Style and the student course level B, which sounds like what you have. I have not managed to watch all the discs of TWSS yet myself and have to admit I am not consistent about working on it, but I really like the results so far. Ds 13's writing has improved tremendously since we started it.

We use it and love it! We also have level B and it sounds like we have the same courses. (My kids are 11 and 13.) I highly recommend it!

I know two families who use it and rave about it. They say it is very user-friendly and humorous.
