I have been reading AVKO's website and catalog because it was recommended here as a good spelling program. The typing program is interesting to me, too. In fact, most products in the AVKO catalog are interesting to me .

But, since I do not have endless financial resources , I was hoping that those of you who use the AVKO program(s) could tell me which products are:
1. necessary
2. helpful/useful, but not absolutely necessary
or
3. unnecessary, not helpful/useful.

Wow, Christine, I just looked at this today, myself. I was wondering what level spelling program to get my 9 yr old dd and 6 yr old ds, if any.

We just have the Sequential Spelling 1 book. I use it with both my ds 10 and my dd 7. I call the words out of it for their spelling every day. I bought my copy at Sonlightand it wasn't very expensive.
