Someone gave our children a set of these books by Jahnna Malcolm. Are they worth previewing for the children to read for fun or are they something that I just want to toss?

I'm not familiar with the Strange Museum books, but one of mine read Jahnna Malcolm's Jewel Princess series. Kind of twaddly, not terribly well written, but not overtly harmful. It depends on how you handle twaddle in your home.

But, again, I haven't seen the specific books you mentioned.

Hi there! Are these the ones that are sold with the Master Reader program from Hooked on Phonics? If so, they're great. Similar to Magic Tree House books.
