I wanted to share my dd's first narration!

We were working with her life cycle book and she was fascinated with the butterfly life cycle. After she finished her work I asked her to tell me about it and I typed it up as she told me. Here it is:
"First there is an egg. And then a little caterpillar. And then he eats leaves and grows into a big caterpillar. Then he makes a “J.” Then he goes into his chrysalis. He is sleeping and then “poof” into a butterfly!"

Hooray, we are on our way!

I love your life-cycle book. Can my kids just live with you until your ideas are spent out? By then I should have fresh ideas. One mom could rejuvenate while the other takes on all the kids. Honestly, there are times when I feel overwhelmed, spent, or that the creative ideas I might have are just plum too messy to tackle.

And I just realized, Theresa, that *you* are the person who invited (and I'm not being facetious, here) us to muck out her stalls. We so desperately need outdoor, physical learning/work.

But you are practically the ENTIRE United States away from me (we live in Utah). Wouldn't it be nice ... ? Dream, dream, dream. Oh, can I come, too?
