Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My DS is an enrolled Seton kid. We are almost done with the 3rd quarter; hallelujah! As we go into the home stretch, I would like to spend more time in English and particularly, paragraph writing. My son's Vocabulary and Spelling are pretty solid and he gets very good grades in those two subjects.

I'd like to pare back in those two areas. Does anybody have any suggestions in that area . . . just have him take the weekly tests and study the words on his own, just do one or two exercises, etc.? Sometimes he can spend a lot of time just doing the daily spelling and vocabulary lessons and I'd like to take that time for English and writing.

Thanks for any suggestions!
