Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I would love to know how you use the pink, blue, and green language series. Is this your main phonics instruction or do you just use them as fun activities to reinforce learning. I can see using them when I am working with another child.

I don't personally use them; I started to when I first got into doing Montessori at home, despite never having seen it done in any of the Montessori schools I'd visited/subbed/observed.

I did print out a bunch of the word lists and used them just for our own made-up games; some of them I did use in our other language work since they were already printed, but that's as far as it got for us.

I did finally get my hands on some album pages for them, but really... I would suggest keeping it light - keeping it fun - keeping it interesting - if at any time it becomes "too much" just it go and try a different approach (like writing your own phrases and words for the child to read). It will be ok :)
