We just started using it Martha, so I don't have much to report. I have Latin for Children for my ds and Lively Latin, by the same company, for my dd. So far they love the change from the Latina Christiana and First Form Books! I don't know if that is because Latin for Children is truly better, or if they just enjoy a change though.
I will say my ds really enjoys the little video movies that are at the end of some of the chapters. It is motivational for him.
After watching the DVD's myself I will say that I found them easy to understand, although a bit dry in parts.
I wish I had more experience to share. We are only into the first lesson in both books. I plan to use them over the summer.

Do you know how Latin for Children compares to Song School Latin, also by Classical Academic Press? I was thinking of using this last year but never did
