Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

When the children play act, is that considered a form of narration too? Somewhere I thought I saw or read that. We listened to the Chronicles of Narnia last year and let them watch the BBC movies and they all loved them. They've been playing Chronicles of Narnia ever since.... including British accents

I really should sneak in a tape recorder, it's quite a hoot.

For us, this counts as narration! You may want to consider taking some pictures for keepsakes. I take (poor quality, lol) pictures on my Palm Pilot, download them into a Word doc., then have the children narrate their role-play pictures...they love it!

We're back to Narnia (first time for our youngest) and role-playing is a natural. It is fun to see what stikes the children as most interesting and important...to see what they remember and enjoy.

God bless,

I think this definitely counts. Not only do the children need to understand what happened, but you can see that they really "feel" what happened, kwim?

My kids do this all the time. They are constantly acting out something. It sometimes make me quite crazy !!

It definitely counts as narration! When they act stories out with legos or dolls it counts too...
