Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just ordered Lingua Mater for my dd, who will be 12 (7th grade) next year. I see that it's grammar and writing--is this a stand alone course? Do I need to supplement it with anything?

Thanks!

It is very much a stand alone course. Instead of "supplementing," we sometimes take a break from it.

Thanks! It came today, and after flipping through it, I must say it definitely looks complete!

Ds used this in 7th grade and really enjoyed it. I think in the introductory pages Margot lists suggestions for those who want to supplement with extra grammar exercises or diagramming, but otherwise it should be fairly complete!

It is absolutely a stand-alone course, and can even be split over two years.

Blessings,
