Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I found a strange word in the dictionary, when I was looking something else up.

Have you ever heard of it? Can you define it?

At the end of today, I will leave the definition if no one knows or can guess correctly.

Then, someone can offer another word......

my word is hugger mugger

huggermugger

but I know it's not the real definition of the word.. that I can't remember though I know I've heard it. I just found it funny that it is the name of the board game.

and yes, nak

We actually own the board game Hugger-Mugger and really enjoy it. I'm not sure of the word's definition, but ds's all think it means secret.

I had never heard this word and two days after I posted Tim read it aloud from the book Master and Commander. The context made me think it meant "buddy buddy."

Without googling, I thought it meant secret or undercover. But I have no idea why or where I might have read it.
