Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A friend showed me a splendid vocabulary book featuring Latin and Greek roots that seems to be fun and not boring. Have any of you used it?

Word Within the Word

The same friend had the grammar book, which I did not look at, and the poetry book, which seemed to be a book from which anyone could learn about the mechanics of poetry (good graphics, clear explanations).

My plan is just to get the Vol. I vocabulary book for now, partly because I want to learn all those roots and words.

Bumping.

Since this was posted back in March and practically everyone is taking a look at resources right now I thought I'd see if anyone else had heard of this program or had any other insight.
