Looking at the Blue one for Grade 9. Any opinions? Tomatoes?

I was looking for something short and to the point to intro. some of the different kinds of writing that we can than practice in our Lit and History courses.

This was good for 9th grade. I noticed it covered narration, persuasive writing, descriptive essay, etc. It was a good transition from retelling or narrative writing. You could incorporate your Literature and history courses into the writing exercises from the blue book. Our son loves science so we utilized some of his interests in science for instance... bee keeping. He has five hives.
