I can't seem to get my mind off of these. But I'm wondering whether it's worth it for the expense. I remember liking the ones in my first grade classroom very much! We didn't have fairy cards, though. Will my kids, half of whom are boys, learn letter formation at least from looking at these cards? And here's another thing ... I was going to hang them on the game/toy room wall, but what about when my teenager wants to hang out with his friends in there? Won't that be odd?

No help here. I love fairies. They are now on my wishlist.

You could always ask your kids what you they think.

I found these Hardware Store ones last year from Tuesday Morning for cheap.
There also an animal parade version
You could save money and just get the Rummy Cards so you could see the pictures.
The letters on the cards aren't reminders for writing, so they won't be a help to my son, who needs to remember how to shape the letters. It's just nice to remember phonics and the alphabet and the order.

Tina,
Did you get them??? They're beautiful, but I was thinking that the letters are pretty small if you're actually using them for that reason.
Can you have your child MAKE alphabet cards with you, using flowers or something????

You could decorate a girls' room with them? They're gorgeous. Now I'm looking at all those similar items on Amazon. What a wealth of Christmas gifts!
