Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone tried this program? You can see a sample chapter on the website. They say the program is designed for middle school students. That almost sounds a little old to me for this program. One more question: at what age do you really begin working on writing? My ds (almost 8) does very little writing. He's doing well to write out his own answers in the F&L workbook. I know for him he doesn't care for handwriting. However, he narrates quite thoroughly. At what point do I begin working with him to get his own words on paper? We do Friday freewrites and he'll write a couple of sentences in a 5 minute period. Any thoughts? I've been making the mistake (yet again)of listening to the moms of my public schooled neighbor kids and hearing about just how much of their day is spent in writing. I'm having panic moments. Thanks for your input.

I guess no one has used this yet. I re-read my original post and don't think I was clear. I was thinking about this for my 10 yo dd. She does write a little, but lately it's become a chore. I thought this book looked a little relaxed but enough to give me a guideline. THanks for any feedback.
