I had a brainwave this morning that really seems to have worked (many don't! ).

Anyway, my youngest was tracing letters in a phonics workbook with a regular pencil and really struggling -- couldn't see his lines, the pencil was hard to hold, etc.

So I asked him what color colored pencil he'd like to use -- purple -- and I gave him the purple FerbySuper 3 pencil and it worked like a charm -- not only could he see his tracing/covering the dashed lines, but he could hold the 3-sided pencil much more easily ....

Cool, huh?

Yep....here too....we've been all about COPYWORK in RAINBOW COLORS for the past couple of months and they LOVE it! My dh actually ORDERED me to get more. I, of course, obeyed....

My neighbors, of course, can't figure out, WHAT my kids are talking about because they now use "ferby" instead of "pencil".

And, it's helped with dd-6's pencil grip, which was pretty bad, before.
