Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Everyone!

Does anyone know who might sell some nice blank books to use as copybooks? I was reading in one of Karen Andreola's books about how they used nice copybooks for nature journals, copywork, etc., that had gilded edges, etc. I thought it might be fun to get one for each of my dc for the new school year, but all I can find are the plain white copybooks, or the ones that have cartoon-like drawings on the covers. Thanks so much in advance!

Blessings,

Jenny

Rainbow Resource carries many very nice books for copywork. They even have some that are half blank for illustrations (which appeals to my 7 year old).

These Frank Lloyd Wright sketchbooks are beautiful, and not a bad deal for $15.

Alice, thank you for the wonderful stationary site. Their items are just beautiful! I love the idea of the leather bound sketchbook and the size is really nice too, a little smaller than the norm but would be great for travel too! You always come up with great stuff Thanks for sharing!

With a book of this style would you still tear out pages to insert into a notebook or keep intact and just get a new one when filled??? Wondering how others do this too? TIA.

Barnes and Noble has a huge selection of journals with all kinds of bindings. I like the kind that are stitched bindings so you can lay the book open flat.

My kids like those composition books that you can buy at Staples. We sometimes make collages on the front and use clear contact paper to cover them.
