I am using the yellow book this year. Last year I was looking for something close to the Sonlight LA we used the 2 years prior. It is close--but not quite. It seems easy for ds and I have to tweak it a lot. So, it is a guideline for me.
The thing that does bother us is everything seems to run on. Meaning, ds doesn't get "outlines" yet and if I tell him to do Lesson 9 number 3 and 4 he can't find them. Often I have to retype out the lessons myself in Word to make them clear for him. Also, I don't get the "literature" part. We have only done one literature link, and it was fun, but we expected more of that type of stuff.
Anyhow, not the best, not the worst, not SL but it is OK
