Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

If any of you get this magazine, there is an article in the Feb/Mar issue about Louisiana Cypress Island Preserve. It is not far from where I live and my ds and I go there often. Lots of wildlife to observe.

I just bought this at the pharmacy last month. I'm not sure which issue it was but I have enjoyed it.

Ooh, neat Marcie! I pick up B & B occasionally when grocery shopping - it's a beautiful magazine!

Dawn,
That's the place we saw the mama alligator with the baby on it's back.
Last year, we saw many nesting roseate spoonbills, but, they all left their nests. Come to find out.......a guy that had a boat tour business would go at night and shine a spotlight on the birds. He caused them to leave their nests, eggs and all. Because boaters are not allowed in the area of the nests, he wanted the birds to nest in the back of the lake so he could have them on his boat tour.
We did see a flock of spoonbills this year, so, hopefully they will nest again.
