Dd13 stated last night that she wants to be a wildlife photographer. Dd has never before shared any ideas of the direction she wishes to take later, in fact I wasn't even aware that she had begun to think about this. I know that these ideas can often change. However I'm all for striking whilst the iron is hot

So I'm looking for any recommendations of good resources regarding wildlife. Any particular magazines, vidoes or books. Also of note any Australian resources too Thanks.

Oh, where would I look for simple information on photography?

Erin, I found this page about the Wildlife Photographer of the Year - scroll to the bottom (or click the links at the top and you will be brought there) - there are a lot of resources mentioned for kids.

My husband and I have this book and are quite fond of it: The Art of Photographing Nature. How wonderful that your daughter is interested in photography! It has brought a lot of joy to our family. What a wonderful way to make a living if she chooses to do so!
