Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone used CHC's Behold & See 5? 5th grade science is tormenting me, and I keep coming back to this program.

Thus far my 5th grade dd has been:
1) Reading lots of science books like Let's Read & Find Out
2) Tons of nature study (we live on property in the country)
3) Slowly progressing through BFSU I

Her science knowledge is very strong, but she wants more than the natural learning approach.    Behold & See looks very tempting.

I have this for my oldest to start next month. Technically he is 6th grade, but 6 wasn't out when I was purchasing. I have used 2-4 of this series and really like them. I may not use all the worksheets and will add in living books on topics that are of interest. It's looks wonderful but won't know until we start it. I expect it will go great.

My daughter (who is in 6th grade this year) LOVES Behold and See 5.(This is her first year of a formal science program, and I needed something hands off for me. I ordered B&S 5 as 6 wasn't out yet. She is just finishing it up and will often come running to me to share (narrate) something interesting she learned. I think the textbook very much qualifies as a "living" book. We didn't use the workbook as much, even though it was well done as far as workbooks go. We just couldn't get to it as much as we wanted to She is requesting B&S 6 for next year. HTH!
