Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The Elements: A Visual Exploration of Every Known Atom in the Universe by

Super science book. Pictures are just way too cool.... we can't stop looking at them. My library had this one...score!

Totally agree! We saw this two years ago at the beach, came home and checked it out several times. It is a gorgeous book! There is something about having the photographs of the element and then items that the element appears that really appeals to my sons!

My dd's Chemistry Club will be studying Mendelev as their monthly scientist after the holidays. Thanks for reminding me about this book. I'm going to request it at our library

I recently purchased it for our chemistry studies. We have not gotten to elements yet, but I have been poring over the book completely amazed! Highly recommended!
