Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I purchased the "Discover and Do level K" science experiment video put out by Sonlight and we enjoy it a lot. The experiments are geared at a kindergarten level. Wanting more exciting experiments for my son I ordered the level 3 (I believe). Unfortunately the entire video is about plant experiments ~ NOT what I was hoping for.    I was wondering if anyone has seen levels 1,2, or 4 and what they thought about them. Thanks!

We have level 1, which is more of a mix -- not just plant experiments. I think they designed the videos specifically to match their science programs. The Science 3 program is heavy on plants; Science 1 and 2 are not. I can't remember what Science 4 emphasizes off the top of my head.

My 7 yo really likes their Mathtacular videos, too, which Justin also does.

We love the Mathtacular videos. Is Justin in Level 1? Another guy does the kindergarten level.

Thanks for the information. Perhaps I will contact the company and ask them. Thanks again!

We really enjoyed the Level 4 Discover and Do (electricity and magnetism). My kids think Justin is hilarious.
Blessings,
Becky

Ok ~ that sounds interesting. Justin is the guy who does Mathtacular - he is pretty funny! Amber is a favorite too. If my kids saw them on the street they would recognize them instantly and demand autographs (if they knew of autographs that is). Is Justin in certain Discover and Do vidoes too? He isn't in K and isn't in 3. Unless you are speaking of the guy who directed them all ~ he seems to be the same guy.

I will look into 4 - thanks so much!

Oops, I just realized that we liked Volume 5 from 2005, not 4 (don't have that one). Volume 5 covers light, electricity, magnets, motion and microscopes. He's also in Volume 2 from 2004. Volume 2 covers water, magnets, and light and mirrors. I wish I remembered why there is an overlap in topics! It's been awhile since we've used either.
