Ok I am trying to keep our budget down for the upcoming yr to have funds for field trips etc. but I saw these science kits listed on a homeschool blog and really interested . or are they kits way to over priced with little to offer once opened ?
The kit I'm looking at to start is Thames & Kosmos Milstones in Science it is very rpicey so I really do not want to spend money unwisely

would love to hear feedback .

Would you mind linking to the blog where you saw the kit? Was it a review post?

I'm looking at this kit, too, but our finances have just gotten a whole lot tighter.

Thames and Kosmos kits are IMHO the best of the best out there.

Yes Angela , her blog is titled Homeschooling Mom going Sane she has a lot of good ideas but her blog is not complicated etc. just a lot of fun activity for her dd . She is retruning to a project this summer of restoring a camper van/truck ! How cool is that

I like blogs like this as they inspire me to be creative once again kinda like Theresa 's blog

My kids have used the PowerHouse kit, and I thought it well worth the money. I can't remember how much I paid for it, but I used my B&N discount and a 50% off one item coupon, so it was a deal. (bought online - I see they have Dangerous Boys kits now...Tempting!)
