I am sitting here in the Miami airport waiting for my flight to AK and just thought I'd pop in to share an interesting little nature thing that is happening here in South Florida.
It is literally raining lizards here!!!
Yesterday in Key Largo my dh had a big iguana fall from a tree and nearly ht hit him on the head . He was out cold! (the lizard, not dh!) and I had a near miss with an anole (much smaller).
The poor things are just not used to this cold weather and are falling from the trees in a catatonic state--all over the place!
I've heard of raining cats and dogs before, but this is ridiculous!
