Hi everyone!

We've really been enjoying Apologia's Elementary Botany book and I'm finding Montessori Lori's Botany materials to be the perfect compliment. As a matter of fact, they practically seem necessary to illustrate the concepts in the book!

I've read mixed reviews here on the Apologia Elementary "textbooks" but this nature-phobic mom is learning a ton!

Thank you for the link to Montessori Lori! I could NOT remember where I had seen those botany cards a few weeks back and I thought I'd have to cry.

Those are definitely on my next round of school shopping.

We are enjoying Apologia Botany this year too! I had my cart full of everything you mentioned, but didn't click purchase. I need to talk with dh first but man, my fingers were itching to click.

Have ya'll seen the free printables at montessori materials? I have really gotten alot from there for free! The parts of a plant and such are great!
