Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Dh has asked me to have a science program for them this year. We do FIAR and do the science lesson but he'd like something that really focuses on Science. The pre levels for this program is for K-3rd. Has anyone used it for the younger ages? Dd's are 5yo and 6yo. We probably wont start til Oct. though and by that time, they will be 7yo and almost 6yo. TIA!

I just ordered it (Chemestry) for my 5yo son. If you'd like, when I get the book, (it should get here tomorow) I can give you some more details. We'll probably use slowly start it sometime this month.

Well I can't personally talk about the younger levels. However, I do have a friend (who is probably lurking around here and knows I'm talking about her ) has used them and really really likes them (and she was/is a certified 6th grade teacher).

Also, this same friend had my dh, who has a PhD in Physical Chemistry, look over level II Chemistry book. He totally thought it was great! (And he is one who has problems with Apologia, and not because of religious issues, but some science ones). He thought the level II Chemistry was a really really strong middle school text, wouldn't be enough for a full high school course...but great for middle school.

I found the level 1 Chemistry on Cathswap and sent away for it...I can't wait for it to come. I'm going to check out the Bio Level 1 too (from my lurking friend!) and we might go with that one too. This would be for my ds's 3rd-6th grade next year, I'm hoping we can do some combining.

If i order this, i would use it with both my girls. Would i need 2 student texts and 2 student lab workbooks? Or could i get away with just 1 student text and 2 lab workbooks? I saw a sample of it and i think we will like it. TIA!

Thank you BlessedMommy! I found it on cathswap and i'll just have to buy the workbooks now.

Funny i found another science book i will also look into after im done with this one. Its called Buliding Foundations in Scientific Understanding by Bernard Nebel. It's for grades K-2. I first saw it on the RC History yahoo group. I want to get it now! lol We'll see how Real Science works out though before i go off buying something else.

Thanks again!
