Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Now, as many who know me (just ask Mary M), I am NOT nature woman ... but I just thought this idea from Montessori-by-hand was too cute not to mention.

On this post, Meg shows how you can make a felted caterpillar, that goes into its chrysalis and then becomes a butterfly .... I love this idea (even if I'm not "nature woman" ).

Meg has a link to Wee Wonderfuls for the pattern, but just by looking at Meg's pictures, you could probably draft your own pattern.

We just read "A Lesson of Faith" from Parables from Nature. This story would be a perfect accompaniment to this craft/activity.
