We have/are so enjoying listening to the tapes by Gabriel Woolf. Here are some of the ideas we have used to date:
Swallows +Amazon ideas:

                          (Ch3+4 ) 1st verse of Spanish lady pg35 copybooked + sang
                          Points on a compass,practice using a compass
                           Play “hit the deck”(man overboard,port,starboard,captains
                          coming etc)
