What do they have in common????? My past 2 days  We FINALLY have decent weather, so outside we go, we decide to shear the goats,,,,WHAM lice everywhere  . Mean time DH is clearing fields with a machete and cuts himself. Fine bandage that, yes he is up-to-date on his tetanus.... so we continue  Now we are hungry (of course) I'm up to my ears in lice, I clean up, start the gas grill and now I have a blazing grease fire  Ever feel that the great outdoors are to much

Poor dear, but maybe this is one of those days you'll laugh about...sometime in the future?
What a title to a post though! I just had to see what it was!
Hope the next few days are fire-, lice- and cut-free!

I didn't know sheep got lice, guess I've read the aneseptic version of history  I have, however, experienced a grease fire (Wow, its really bright out there!) Hope your husband heals soon. Still want to move out of the city...

We have Angora goats. Angora Lice are common enough, humans don't contract these lice.....Thank you Jesus!!!
After a good nights sleep, I am grateful, it is a beautiful life, well at least it is not boring

As a witness to this day, I am qualified and compelled to contribute.
You must understand that we did not know that lice are host-specific. So, we had the heeby jeebies all day. I scrubbed my body hard twice and washed my hair three times before I looked up the species.
I have a free card profiling what to look for just in case I ever need to know what human lice look like.
I am itching just writing this. Ugh.
It was a beautiful day and I am grateful for such a friend. What a fantastic lady. She has a vitality and zest for life that will not be squelched by lice, fire or blood.
