Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I found this today while surfing and put my own twist on it. It is homemade paper with flower and/or vegetable seeds in it that you can plant. I am going to cut ours in Easter symbol shapes and give to friends and family members. I thought some of you might enjoy it. I will be posting pictures on my blog about it.

What a great idea, Lisa! Thanks for sharing the link!

I had an additional idea...how about starting some of the paper seeds in eggshells, so continuing the Easter symbol theme?

I just had to bump this before the Holy Week hiatus ... this is such a cool idea especially for those of us who have gardening kids and relatives far away .... what a fabulous idea!

THANKS so much Lisa for posting this ... I never EVEN thought about it before!
