This is facinating reading about a giant whirlpool 100 kms off shore from Sydney. The wonders of nature! I wonder what causes them?

It seems that the Mediterranean Sea is famous for it's eddies, or "Meddies" that in turn effect the Atlantic and the currents but they are warm, this one in Australia is cool..
