For some reason I'm having moments of panic. I heard a doctor on EWTN mention that fertility can start decreasing at age 37. Dont' laugh...I will turn 35 this December and I am in a complete panic that my time is running out. I feel absurd and selfish. My baby isn't even 6 months olds and I'm nuts about her. What is wrong with me? Other than my addiction to babies.
Just some prayers for a patient heart, open to whatever God wills for our family. But I so want my ds to have a baby brother .

I really understand, Maria!
I'm 39 and after my son was born - 6 years ago - my fertility started changing.
I think it's still possible for us to have more children but the closer we get to realizing that our fertility is not our's to control, the more your feelings are understandable.
Praying for you to get that baby brother - will you pray for us to get a baby brother, too - we have 3 girls and 1 boy - and he does need a brother, imho. LOL!
I'm editing my post to add that we'll also pray for God's will!

Maria, it is true, but from my experience, someone with a proven track record of fertility, such as you have, often becomes pregnant again, sooner or later.
Can't promise you another baby, much less another boy .....but, it could be very likely.
That being said, being open to life, is truly being open to WHATEVER God's will is for you. More babies or no.....it is hard for an addict, but beg God for the graces to know and trust in his will. And, then beg him for another boy, and accept His will.
I promise to add you to our daily St Gerard prayer!
Abundant Blessings to you!

I laughed when I read this Maria because we have the same midwife and I can just picture you pestering her the way I did . And I can hear her saying, "Relax. You have time." I got pregnant just before my fortieth birthday. When Margie came to chat before Karoline and I went home, she reminded me that she might be my last...and then she reminded me she might not
