I've finally signed up with my parish for adult confirmation classes. Last year I found out about the classes too late to gather all my paperwork (you would think I would have it all together). So, since then I've been asking my mother for help in sending off for my baptismal and first communion paperwork. I have the first communion one, but the baptism one is in Korea. My first class is on the 22nd. I need prayers the my cousin will remember to send it to me soon. She's had it for a month now, but keeps forgetting to mail it off (she's bipolar and facing some dosage changes which is making life a bit difficult for her).
Also, the classes are at night which could be interesting for my dh. He will have to watch the 4 and get them off to bed on his own. I would appreciate prayers here too. OH, and that he doesn't get sent off on a business trip between then.
My confirmation date is April 21st with the bishop presiding over it. I'm so excited I could burst.

KC, how wonderful!!!!!!
I'll pray for your paperwork, and I'll ask you to pray for mine...ds is to be confirmed 4/14 and we have had one service hour report go astray (I can fix this) and one sponsor Letter of Good Standing that still needs to arrive.
I am so, so happy for you. You're in my prayers at this exciting, amazing time in your life!

Oh, Yea!
So exciting. I'll be praying for you, KC.
Who is your confirmation saint so we can ask for special intercession?

Oh, I didn't even think of that. I guess I'll have to start praying to decide on one. Wow. I'm still just trying to wrap my brain around the idea that I'm finally getting confirmed. Between pregnancies, nursing, and husband absences, this will be the first time that I'll really have the opportunity to do this. I also think that I'm the most ready. That is in huge part to you all who have educated me and inspired me in the faith. You've taken a lukewarm Catholic who only wanted ideas to teach my children the faith and turned her into one who has completely fallen in love with Catholicism and most especially God.
I'll have to pray that God helps me decide who my confirmation saint should be.

I love this post, KC.
I thought we could help you out by looking at the April 21 saints but I don't recognize any of them. Do you?
