Hi Dear Ladies,
Please pray once again for us as this is just such a hard time. My three youngest, Andrew, 21 mos.; Joey, 4; and Clare, just 6 last Friday, are coughing a lot AGAIN after getting better from the last one. (Joey just finished his course of the 3-week antibiotic Bactrim and Prednisone less than 2 weeks ago and he seems even sicker this time. With his weight-loss issues, they may want to hospitalize him to get an IV antibiotic into him this time. He has the scariest circles under his eyes.... I have a call in to the CF Clinic.)
Andrew threw up last night and has been itching so badly several eczema patches for the last couple of days that several areas are bleeding. (I know---call CPS.  ) He also is coughing up a storm.
And now: yes, I---I am coughing and have a sore throat (after getting over that killer lung infection only a month or so ago).  And my husband is having unforeseen difficulties in his home business that are causing so much upset and stress for all of us. He really needs some hope and relief. It's not easy being the father of a large family, and a special-needs one.
Well, I'll stop...I guess it's good timing that Lent is in February and March. They are hard months. And I know all of you have your burdens and hardships, too. Thank you for remembering us!

Dear Nina,
I will offer my day for you and your family, these are heavy crosses! - it is the Lenten period, isn't it?
My husband was saying only yesterday that his work has gotten harder and more troublesome since Lent and it seems inexplicable. I have had a bad 24hour vomiting virus and other numerous little things cropping up - it just amazes me that these things crowd in at the penitential season (we always notice Friday's as difficult days too....)

Oh Nina, what a time you all are having. I am praying that this curse of sickness over your family will be broken and that you would all receive the healing touch of our Jesus.
Annoint your children, pray over them and confess the Word of God concerning healing over your family and home.
Here is a prayer from a book that uses the Word and some that I've added to it.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I confess Your Word concerning healing and as I do this I believe with all my heart that as your Word declares, that your Word will not return to you void but will accomplish what it says it will. Therfore, I beleive in the name of Jesus that I am healed, according to 1 Peter 2:24. It is written in your Word that Jesus himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses (thank you Jesus). With boldness and confidence I say on the authority of the written Word that I am redeemed from the curse of sickness and I refuse to allow its symptoms to persist.
Father I thank you that Your Word abides in me and delivers to me perfect soundness of mind and wholeness in body and spirit from the deepest parts of my nature in my immortal spirit even to the joints and marrow of my bones, your Word is medication and life to my body!
