God has let me know that we DO need to buy a new car before we go on our cross-country trip. Could you please pray for my husband to have wisdom in making a selection and to know which car is just the right car for us? Just the right price would be good, too!
I gave God specifications for a piano and for Golden retrievers, and He came through  .....now I have turned the car over to Him......we just need help listening 
I am praying for all of you, too!

He found a great car, he thinks. Two actually. If one of them is the right one........please pray they do not sell out from underneath him before he can get to them. (which of course would mean those are not the right ones )
Funny "small world" thing happened while looking for a car:
my dad gave me two numbers to call........one of them ended up being a Catholic hser who only lives 2 3/4 hrs from me........and she has a local Cath. hser friend, too. She has already joined the CathCM west coast list. Isn't that just too weird??? 
Never know where God is going to take you.......as Willa and I love to delve into!
Now, another car-related thing I need prayers for..........of course, my dh wants MY opinion on the cars......but I just feel so neutral.....like NO gut-feelings either way........so, I wonder if God is just asking me to totally trust my dh to make the decision....which I am okay with.......I guess if he does not give me any negative feelings about it...........it must be the request He has of me....just thinking out loud......thanks for listening......

Praying, Chari.
Last time we bought a car I never even sat in it before we signed the papers. The guy thought I was crazy. Dh is the key in our home because he is extremely tall (and ds is following in Dad's footsteps). I fit in anything dh can drive.
I tell dh I always rely on him to decide all things automotive (even whether I should drive in bad weather, like yesterday!). He's very gifted with cars and I am, well, not.
Buying a car is a big financial decision; you're in my prayers!

Thanks for your prayers.......we need a quick gush of them right now
he just called from work.......he got an email from the lady who said someone just made them an offer, but since my husband had contacted them first, they would let him decide if he wanted to put in an offer. He called for my opinion......there I was again.........just neutral .......so, I think he is going make an offer of $800 less than the asking.......and, we decided to agree if he does not get it, it wasn't the right car. He says this car meets all of his criteria.......so, we shall see.
Unfortunately, he will have to go drive 6 hrs to see it and check it out.  Oh, I guess he will need two drivers hmmmmm.

Nancy, the last car we bought: my dh took my old Blazer and drove to Reno and he and my dad went car shopping till he found my Suburban........I never even saw it first .....my dh is the car guy, too....though, since I have been traveling these last few years, I did learn how to check the oil and pour some in .....and the power steering, too, since it was on permament leak for a few years :)
Talk about panic when the ac was "leaking" water.......phew!
I make all of the medical/health decisions around here......he will not touch those.
.........I usually make my dh decide which car I am to drive in the weather (we have a small low gas user, too).....and if I should leave town in inclement weather.

we could use a few more prayers
Somehow that car never did get sold out from underneath us  .......and my husband is on his way to Sacrmento to check it out, and prob. buy it. It is nice that the man was coming to Sac so my dh did not have to go all the way to santa rosa (3.5hrs vs 5-6 one way).
So , prayers please that the car is just right............AND most esp for my dh's safe return!
