Hi Everyone,
I went to a new OB today....I ditched the other one....the other OB's office gave me a sheet about early pre-natal testing, which is good info to have, BUT one of the lines on this sheet read something to the effect that "We are fortunate to have early prenatal testing between 9-12 weeks, before anyone even has to know you are pregnant." I got many more vibes like that at my initial visit....and my BP was sky high at the initial visit, and they wouldn't believe me that it was anxiety....SOOO, I changed to an OB that is very close to my house, ...she is Catholic...and spent over an hour with my today hearing about all of my difficult OB history, was very attentive and compassionate. (two things missing at the other "mega" practice that was an impersonal assembly line)
I just wanted to thank GOD for answered prayers. She is so sweet, gave me hug and said she would take good care of me and the baby...let me get my act together before taking my BP, and while it was slightly up, she was pleased and just told me to monitor at home. I realize my BP is something to take seriously, but I appreciate her hearing me out about my anxiety, and closely monitoring it... The office is so pleasant and down to earth...
The BEST news on this St. Valentines....I saw a little, new heart beating when they did an ultrasound...just the perfect gift on this day of hearts.
I have been on a few antibiotics for bronchitis, just haven't been able to kick this stuff...have been worried about how baby was doing, and baby is fine..
Thanks, Friends, for praying....
4 Lads' Mom with baby due in Sept.

That's wonderful news! A good fit with your doc is so important, and it's good that she's more understanding about your BP.
