I would like to ask you dear ladies for another prayer request. I felt the power of everyone's prayers for my dd last week and for my looming labor.
This is a similar request. I've had off and on "real" contractions today....so it won't be too much longer I'd say. However, here is the thing. This is #5, but I am AFRAID...more fearful than with any other labor. That business our moms told us about how you forget about what the labor was like after you hold the baby in your arms sure sounds comforting, but it ain't so. I remember. I hate to sound like a big weenie, but it hurts, it lasts a long time and sometimes with my labors scary things happen. 
I need to trust in God more. Could you ladies say a quick Hail Mary or two for me? Just knowing someone else was petitioning for me would lighten my load and perhaps make a little bit of this fear peel off. It's suffocating.

I have my own issues with fear right now and I'm learning how to "let go!"

((Hugs)) Praying for the fear to subside. Remember that God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. Take your concerns to Him too. He will hear you and you always have the Holy Spirit there to comfort you and help you.
I am a big weenie at the dentist. Once when they were repairing a top front tooth it hurt so bad. The pressure was horrible on my face and tears were running down the sides of my cheeks, I just kept thinking "Thank you Jesus for the stripes you took for me" and sang a few hymns in my head. It still hurt, lol but it took my focus off of the fear and put it on my Creator.

I am praying for you. Here is one of the prayers that I say before childbirth.
"PRAYER FOR A HAPPY DELIVERY
To St. Elizabeth, to St. Anne, and to the Blessed Virgin Mary
St. Elizabeth, through the great blessing which, at the birth of your son John, you recived from God, I beseech you to obtain for me the grace that I may be preserved from all danger, and happily bring my child into the world. Amen.
Venerable mother, St. Anne, obtain for me, through your ever-blessed child, the Blessed Virgin Mary, that no accident may befall me, but that my child may come safe and sound into the world. Amen.

I hear you loud and clear...I get very anxious before giving birth. It started with #5...continued with 6,7 and 8
 I wasn't so nervous with the last?
I said the prayer for a Happy Delivery, that Rebecca posted
