I need to pass along a prayer request on behalf of my cousin's cousin (that is, her cousin on the other side of the family). Her little boy (only 2 or 3 years old) has been exceedingly ill for days. Here is today's update:

Kyle was diagnosed with a severe allergic reaction to the penicillin drug. His fever is raging; he is beet red and swollen and rash over his entire body.   He is not out of the woods yet. There can be other complications that develop, but right now his hydration is the most important thing for his recovery. It will be weeks before he is better. The constant worry of 10 days not knowing what was wrong was so frightening . . . .
