Frank’s dad seems to be reaching his final days. The hospital will be sending him home tomorrow with a blockage and a failing kidney. They are keeping him comfortable. The whole family has been visiting including Frank. I will be traveling the rest of the family down there to Delaware tomorrow (Sunday). The whole family, pretty much, needs conversion of heart. I pray that God’s mercy and love will pour down upon the entire family and bring about change of hearts.
UPDATE:
Thank you all for your continued prayers. Thank our Lord that my Frank and sister Donna went to DE because a prolife battle was faced. Your prayers were very helpful and my father n law is still living because of them. Frank and Donna needed to be bold with hospice, because although my father-n-law wanted IV saline it was extremely difficult getting it. (Apparently the hospice was planning to do their “job” by “helping” him to die.) Joe would have died but he is living his last days at home loving his family (his wife beside him and his 6 children, 4 siblings, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren keep visiting) and although in lots of discomfort, he is appreciating his life! Now if hospice could only understand that!

Here is the latest update from my friend, Bridget:
My dear spiritual warriors, Please keep praying! I could have never imagined the battle that would be raging! Right now, in a nut shell, it seems to be Donna, Frank, and Dad (the person with the suffering) VS. THEM. Frank’s family are wonderful caretakers and have always sacrificed so much of themselves for the family, however, satan is working a number on them and they are very confused. I believe that this most difficult process is working for God’s greater glory and honor.
Some more great blessings but won’t go into detail now. We are heading down there early tomorrow morning so that we can answer Dad’s requests… to eat and to get out of bed!! We are bringing a box of cream of wheat to share with him. He was told in a dream 7 years ago that he had 13 years to live. Let’s see how God’s beautiful plan unravels!!
PS He keeps saying his Rosary.
PPS It has taken him 7 years of cancer to finally, finally begin leading a sacramental, prayerful life. Can you believe it? And what encouragement he felt to hear the words from his daughter’s Mother-n-law, “One of the priests at the healing Mass I went to for you on my pilgrimage to Rome, tapped me on the shoulder amidst the crowd and told me, ‘Tell the person you are praying for to keep saying saying the Rosary and Mary will lead him to heaven.’ (The mother-n-law had no idea he had been saying the Rosary!)
God’s peace in all your hearts,
Bridget
