Olivia was out back playing in the snow today. Our huge, clumsy puppy ran full speed into her. Olivia was knocked off her feet and landed on her arm. There was no mistaking it...her arm was broken. DH came home immediately from work & took her to the ER.
The x-ray showed her arm is broken in two places. 
They've put her on an IV of morphine. 
The next step is what I'm asking for prayer for....they are going to pull her arm to get the bones lined up.
If you would, please pray that will be quick & painless as possible. That she gets an experienced person to do it...so she won't have to endure more than necessary.
She will be in a cast up to her shoulder for 3-4 weeks, then a cast up to her elbow for 3-4 weeks.
DH said it will be another 2-3 hours before their done.

They are back after a long seven hours in the ER.
The doctor told DH that Olivia was surprisingly calm for a child with two broken bones. The worst part for her was the insertion of the IV needle.
The cast signing has already begun. lol

I'll take the night shift of prayers for little Olivia to have a peaceful night and get some much-needed rest and for you to get rest, too! What is it with broken limbs and a newborn--didn't Cindy have this happen to her a few weeks ago? Hugs and prayers coming...
