back story if you need/want it
Please forgive me for being remiss in reporting some very good news that my sister received a couple of days before Christmas.
While I do not know what this means for the long term, the doctor has told my sister Frances that a huge section of her brain tumor is dead! This is extra amazing because in November the doctor told her that, while it wasn't growing due to the expermintal chemo she is on, we should not expect it to shrink or die!
Please join me in praising God for this miracle!! 
I also humbly ask for you also to continue to pray for her health as the chemo and her seizure are taking a toll on her mentally and physically, as is the stress of having no income and raising a not-easy 17 year old boy (if an easy one even exists!  ).

This is such a hopeful update to a horrible, horrible situation. Your poor sister--I am so sad about what she is going through.
Thank you, Jen, for this news. We will pray for her and for her son. What a heavy cross they are bearing.

Jen, my oldest cousin (just turned 49, I think) was diagnosed and treated for the same cancer as your sister. Through wonderful caregivers and God's grace, she has been cancer free for over five years now!  Through Him all things are possible. I will continue to pray that your sister will be a living miracle, too.
