I am so happy to announce the birth of John Patrick Castell born at home on May 7th at 2:05 a.m. He weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz and is 21 inches.
Jack had a bit of nerve wracking entrance into the world, but all has turned out well. Baby had a shoulder dystocia as feared and a very tightly wound cord around his neck. However, after a very scary first few post delivery minutes he pinked up nicely and screamed lustily. All is well. God is so good.
Mom and baby are doing beautifully and everyone is revelling in babymoon time. Thanks for all the prayers mommas!
