My Grandpa is extremely ill and has been admitted to the hospital. He has cancer and it is likely that the cancer has progressed now as his kidneys are failing. A surgery had been scheduled for this afternoon but has now been cancelled as he is not doing very well.

My Mother is flying from Maui to Denver and then will take a shuttle ride to Steamboat Springs as the flight to Hayden was cancelled. If the weather is so bad it is altering the flights into Hayden, the shuttle ride over the passes is not going to be the greatest trip.

Please say a prayer for both my Mom and my Grandpa today.

I'll be praying for a safe and uneventful trip - we are expecting more storms here as well starting in the next 24 hours so I hope she gets through before all that.

Thank you for your prayers!

Mom's flight was cancelled, but she caught her shuttle just fine. She was the only one aboard! We lost cell connection pretty quickly as they entered the mountains and I haven't heard from her this morning. But she said last night that Grandpa has now developed pneumonia as well.

My Grandfather has passed away.

Mom did make it to the hospital beforehand and I think that, and your prayers, have brought alot of peace to her today.
