My friend Patrice found out she was pregnant on Friday, after hoping for another baby for quite some time. Unfortunately her pregnancy is ectopic and she is being sent into surgery right now.

Thank you all. She was expected to have a laproscopy but ended up having regular surgery (with incision) and will be in the hospital at least through tomorrow. She is devastated.

I don't understand why modern science can transplant a finger, a hand, or even half of a face but they can't move the section of tube and "transplant it" into the womb to save the baby.    I don't think it is because it can't be done, I just don't think it is a priority.
