After the amazing miracle of prayer I received from the women of this board, I felt that this was the place to come for this prayer request.
A woman named Mary Ann went into labor this past Saturday when she was 22 weeks, 2 days pregnant. When she got to the hospital she was already dilated to 8 cm. The doctor told her the baby needed to come now and wouldn't survive. His team of specialists however countered him and put her in bed and on magnesium to try and stop the contractions and get as much time in utero as possible. She hit 23 weeks today.
Being on the magnesium she is not able to eat and when they tried to take her off, the contractions started again. She is going a little crazy from the magnesium and is in some pain from being in bed and unable to move this whole time.
If you wouldn't mind praying for Mary Ann and her unborn baby, I know they would appreciate it.

Praying for St. Gerard's intercession for Mary Ann and her baby - I've had magnesium with 3 of my preterm babies, and it's not fun.

When I was pregnant with my twins, I read many stories of moms being put on magnesium... it sounded horrible. I will pray.
