I'm still very new here (I hope I'm doing everything right). I just found out that my youngest brother looks to be deployed to Iraq in March. Any prayers for quick and peaceful end to this would be very much appreciated. I won't be talking about this on my blog because my mother doesn't know yet. I think they are trying to keep it quiet for as long as possible. This is all very frightening to us, as I'm sure lots of you understand first hand.

Our Archbishop has asked that we fast every Wednesday during Advent for peace in the Middle East. I am definitely praying and will add your family, especially your brother to my prayers.

Jennifer, I don't think of you as new, as I feel like I've been reading your blog for months now! Is this the brother that's building his house (and doing such a fine job)?
Definitely lots of prayers for him, for you, for your family. I know how much you love him and worry!

Your brother will be in our prayers for sure. My oldest son is being deployed in February and his wife's brother has been there since September.
