Please pray for a mother in my local Catholic homeschool group. She is having a partial Thyroidectomy tomorrow morning and then after the pathology reports come back will be advised on further treatment or the removal of the
whole thyroid. Needless to say, she is very worried and could use many prayers.

I will pray for. I too suffer from Thyroid disease and will have to have my thyroid removed sometime. I will remember in our Rosary this morning.

I received an update this morning on Kelly.

They took half of the thyroid and everything looks benign. They'll get the full pathology report today or tomorrow. If it's malignant, they'll have to go back in but they'll do it immediately so all looks well.

Please continue to pray that the report comes back with the good news we are expecting. Thank you for your prayers.

Kelly's lab results came back. They showed cancer in what they originally suspected was merely a lesion. It is possible that all of the cancerous part was removed, but since they cannot be sure, the doctor wants to operate
tomorrow to remove the rest of her thyroid. Please pray that an operating room will be available and that all goes well.
